This is a classic Afghani example, constructed using a genuine East India Company Brown Bess, Third Model, flintlock mechanism with ring cock. There are traces of the EIC Rampart Lion logo. It retains its sheet brass cladding on the stock and has the classic Jezail "hook butt" stock of which is heavily adorned with sheet brass designs.
