Original Item: US WWII Heavy Padded M1 Garand drop bag. Worn by US paratroopers when jumping with the M-1 Garand rifle. Marked CASE INDUVIDUAL WEAPON PARACHUTIST M1950. Manufactured by JQMD, this jump case was for airborne troops to safely jump from a plane with their M1 Garand inside.
This M-1950 or Model 1950 was an improvement over the WWII drop case, as this case is long enough to accommodate a M1 Garand rifle without breaking it down into the three main groups. All of our examples are dated from the very early 1950s making them Korean War era.
We have a very limited supply of these cases in good to very good condition (some wear/tear and minor staining should be expected, but you can expect to receive one in as good or better condition as what is photographed).
